Gentle, personalised care for babies, children and young people

Maïté provides gentle osteopathic care for babies, children and teenagers. Every child is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Care is always adapted to your child's age, needs and comfort.

 

For babies

Maïté takes a full history, listens to your concerns and gently examines your baby, explaining what she finds and what she recommends. Osteopathic care for babies is gentle and tailored to each baby.

Osteopaths are trained to screen for medical conditions. If you or Maïté feel your baby would be better seen by another professional, such as your GP or health visitor, she will tell you and advise on next steps.

For children and young people

Maïté sees children and teenagers of all ages. Older children and young people can experience general aches and pains, including back and joint pain, and osteopathy could help. Depending on what's going on, she may suggest simple exercises to do at home alongside hands-on care, and she always explains everything clearly and kindly, to your child as well as to you.

If Maïté feels your child would benefit from medical advice or specialist care, she'll refer you to your GP or another healthcare provider.

• Initial consultation (up to 60 min): £135

• Follow-up (approx. 45 min): £110

 

Mum & Baby home visit package

• Initial consultation (up to 2h15): £220 

• Follow-up (approx. 1h30): £180 

 

Home visits cover areas within a 15-minute drive of Amersham, including Little Chalfont, Beaconsfield, Chorleywood, Chesham, Chalfont St Peter, Chalfont St Giles and Great Missenden, and this isn't an exhaustive list.
