Adult Osteopathy
From young adults to the elderly

Adult Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that looks at how your body's structure, including your bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues, influences how it works. Osteopaths are statutorily regulated healthcare professionals who use hands-on care, exercise advice and health guidance to help relieve pain, ease stiffness and improve mobility. If you need to see another health professional, such as your GP, your osteopath will tell you.
What to expect
At your adult general osteopathy appointment, we'll take the time to understand you and your health history.
Treatment may include gentle hands-on techniques such as:
-
Massage to ease muscle tension
-
Articulation to improve joint movement
-
Manipulation to help joints move more freely
-
Stretching to lengthen tight muscles
You'll also get personalised advice on posture, exercise and everyday habits to help you keep moving comfortably.
